On November 8, 2024, the Madagascar Country Team embarked on a 15-hour journey from Antananarivo to Andrainjato, a rural commune in the Ambalavao district. This significant trip marked an inspiring milestone, as we visited EPP Mahatsinjony, where 118 young learners—57% of whom are girls—are now benefiting from our scholarship program.

During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting our new partners and immersing ourselves in the local community, where we introduced the Anjiro Initiative’s mission to empower and uplift students across Madagascar. We engaged with local authorities, school principals, parents, and, most importantly, the students themselves, learning about their school environment and the unique challenges they face.
