Anjiro Initiative welcomes Kenny Pankey to the Board of Directors

Anjiro Initiative is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenneth “Kenny” Pankey as incoming Anjiro Initiative Board Member and Treasurer. Kenny succeeds Sabrina Lau, who recently stepped down to spend more time with her family after serving as Anjiro Initiative’s Founding Team Treasurer for three years.  “I have been drawn to the opportunity to lend my skills to an organization with such a direct impact on the lives of students in Madagascar,” said Pankey.

In his new role as Treasurer, Kenny will drive Anjiro Initiative’s operational strategy, bringing deep expertise in areas related to complex financial planning, strategy, program development, and humanitarianism to better serve the lives of vulnerable Malagasy students from rural communities.

Kenny is currently Senior Director of Finance and Operations at the United Nation Foundation’s Clean Cooking Alliance. At the Clean Cooking Alliance, Kenny manages the financial compliance and reporting functions, as well as organizational operations functions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and an MBA from the University of Maryland. Kenny currently resides in Washington, DC.

Please join us as we welcome Kenny in Anjiro Initiative!
