Ecole Primaire Publique classroom construction complete

We are thrilled to announce that construction of the new classroom at Ecole Primaire Publique Sabotsy Anjiro (EPP) school is complete.

In October, 2020 the Northern California Peace Corps Association awarded Anjiro Initiative with a grant to purchase a new printer and construction materials to build a new classroom at EPP.

In September, 2021 the new printer was given to EPP and ground breaking for the classroom construction began. The event was covered by the national news program Ny Vaovao An-tsary TVM.

Tendry Nantenaina Randrianarimanana, AI’s Program Administrator and Anjiro resident, managed the project and worked closely with the school administration. Students’ parents and guardians contributed to the project by donating their time and labor. This project would not have been possible without their dedication and support.
