FIANARANTSOA - tEA & TALK madagascar
Fianarantsoa, a key cultural and academic center in Madagascar’s Southern Highlands, serves as a strategic site for advancing inclusive and equitable education. In this region, the Anjiro Initiative partners with Tea and Talk, a locally led NGO committed to English language education, youth empowerment, and community development. This collaboration reflects the power of global solidarity, supported by the ongoing engagement of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers.
Through grassroots fundraising efforts, this partnership mobilizes resources to support university access for students from rural areas—advancing SDG 4.3 (Equal access to affordable and quality tertiary education) and SDG 17.16 (Multi-stakeholder partnerships for sustainable development).
By investing in higher education pathways, this initiative fosters long-term leadership, promotes intergenerational change, and supports young people in becoming agents of sustainable development within their communities.
